Transport Express takes pride in servicing the International Trade Community since 1977.

The company started with three tractors, a small office, and a 5,000 sq.ft. warehouse. Today, Transport Express has three facilities in Los Angeles with a combined 670,000 sq.ft. of warehouse space on 35 acres utilizing a fleet of 50 tractors.

Over the past twenty-three years, Transport Express has developed a reputation for providing importers and exporters with dependable service, superior cargo security and an advanced communication network.

Distinctions

COMPUTERS: Transport Express has developed a comprehensive, AIX UNIX based software package. EXPRESS-Link can provide real time tracking, and a database, which can be utilized to create a variety of standard or customized reports to assist with the managing of your import and export traffic. Transport Express utilizes high-speed T1 service for all Internet based applications.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Transport Express is in compliance with the Department of Transportation and with the U.S. Treasury Department regulations. In order to maintain compliance, Transport Express utilizes drug testing, medical cards, BIT equipment inspections, background checks and detailed cargo security measures.

STATE-OF-THE-ART SECURITY: Transport Express places a high priority on the protection of our clients' cargo. The terminal features sound sensitive surveillance, a Sonitrol alarm system, security guard service 24 hours a day, employee identification badges, and a manager authorized gate pass system for the removal of equipment or containers from the terminal. The trucking fleet is equipped with AirTouch -TELETRAC cellular tracking, which provides real time tracking and an emergency alert system in the event of a hijacking.
